Mackenzie law is a Toronto based firm founded by Ugo Mackenzie. Our firm specializes in all areas of labour relations and employment law, including, human rights, wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, termination for cause, and workplace harassment.
In providing competent legal services to employers, employees and independent contractors, Mackenzie Law strives to provide services that are efficient and cost effective without compromising the end result.

About Ugo Mackenzie

Ugo Mackenzie is a labour, employment and human rights lawyer in Toronto and is the principal of Mackenzie Law. Ugo represents both individual employees and management in all areas of labour relations and employment law. She has experience advising on employment standards and contracts, occupational health and safety, wrongful dismissals, workplace investigations and human rights.
After completing her Master of Laws on a full-ride scholarship at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Ugo made the decision to relocate to Toronto. She has since become very involved with the local legal community, attaining the positions of council member of the Ontario Bar Association and a Member-at-Large with the Canadian Bar Association’s Labour and Employment Law section.
Ugo’s diverse background, strong litigation style, and exceptional negotiation skills, along with her proven record of leadership and trust from colleagues through the board and council positions she holds makes her the ideal lawyer in any employment law issue. Her practice focuses on complex labour, employment, and human rights disputes at all levels of court, as well as the Labour Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
In her spare time, Ugo enjoys keeping active by rollerblading, traveling, camping, and reading.
